Randy attended Brock
University's Computer programming course in 1992, but he
found it was far too one-sided in logic. So Randy opted for the one
passion that he had since his childhood - Drawing! Having done
freelance design work since his teens, he enjoyed that zest of
creativity with the addition of logical thinking necessary for his work
with professionals and their business. For almost 20 years, he had held
the position of Graphic Designer, Illustrator and even a Video
Game Designer. In that time he enjoyed the mixture of left and right
brain thinking - but he felt it was not making the impact he was
looking for. He wanted to help people, but not just drawing up their
next logo for them. Something on a deeper level.
Randy's life took a 180 degree turn in 2008 after massive layoffs hit the business he worked for. There were simply no jobs in his field available.
At this time, several friends from Randy's past began to reappear, as well as forming new friendships, and with them, an exposure to alternative healing methods. He began to meditate daily which allowed him to quiet the chatter of his mind, practice focus, relaxation and to expand his intuitive side. Shortly after, energy healing, and the role of the subconscious mind in that healing process, captured Randy's interest. After witnessing and experiencing these alternative healing methods first hand, he knew these could make a positive impact on any person's life. This led Randy to become a certified Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master/Teacher.
Randy was trained in Hypnotherapy by Instructor, Cliff Preston, a Hypnotherapist and Instructor of Hypnotherapy for The Excel Center Hypnotherapy Training College in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Mr. Preston has been practicing in Ridgeway since 1993 with a much respected reputation for his methods, which are non-threatening and gentle towards his clients - a way of working with clients which Randy shares passionately.
Randy is 12th in the lineage of Reiki Master/Teachers in the Usui Reiki Shiki Ryōhō, which translates to Usui's Spiritual Energy Style of Therapy. He was taught the Usui method, with its theory work on location, and energy flow through the seven major Chakras of the body, from Reiki Master/Teacher, Natalie Haig, 11th in lineage. It only took receiving one Reiki treatment from Natalie for Randy to know just how wonderful this energy feels.
It is through helping others to heal and find peace that will truly help one's self to heal in that same process. Through the practice of Hypnosis and Reiki, as well as his ongoing self-practice of QiGong and Meditation, Randy continues to shape his own life into one of peace and relaxation.

- Teaching meditation or Intuitive studies to those interested
- Outdoor and modelling photography
- Sketching stuff over coffee at local coffee shops
- Designing his next art piece.
